If you're running classes, you have the option to make these classes publicly available on your MyWebsite so your clients (or new clients) can book themselves in. They will be able to view your upcoming classes by the week, whether there are still available spots available or not, and manage their own bookings (including cancelling, if they are within the cancellation policy time-frame set by you). When your clients make a booking or a cancellation, you will be automatically notified by email, and their attendance will be updated accordingly within the PTminder Calendar.
Here is an example of what your MyWebsite Class Schedule may look like:
How do your clients register?
If they are an existing client, you can create a login for them in your Clients area, simply edit the client and tick the box 'Create Client Login', fill in their email and password and save. Your client can then login with these details which you provide to them.
If they are a new client, they can register on your Client Area. This will add them as a 'Lead' client in your Client Management area. You will also be notified by email that a new client has signed up.
How do I set this up?
To setup PTminder so you are able to make your classes available for online bookings, please follow these steps:
- If you haven't done so already, enable your 'MyWebsite' feature. When you do this, you will be asked to set your own website address in the form of http://example.ptminder.com. This is where your clients will go to view the available classes. If you already have your own website you can create a menu/button link to the MyWebsite address that you set.
Enable your Client Area by going to 'Settings' then 'Client Area'
- Now in your Calendar, on the Book Class form, you will see a tickbox 'Allow Online Bookings'. Tick this if you wish for that particular class to be made available publicly on your MyWebsite class schedule. Also you can optionally fill in the 'Cancellation Policy' if you would like to set a restriction on how many hours before the class starts that the clients are able to cancel their booking.
